It is reported from Abu Huraira (ra) that a man complained to the Prophet (p.b.u.h.) about the hardness of his heart, (whereupon the Prophet said to him): “If you want your heart to soften, satisfy the needs of (take care of) and stroke the heads of orphans.”
The Sakina Charity Fund is committed to providing orphans and abandoned children with the support they need to lead a fulfilling life. We do this by collaborating with existing orphanages in Pakistan. We provide these orphanages with the financial support they need to provide quality care and education for these children. Our goal is to empower these young lives, giving them a chance at a brighter future.
BAQUITIALLAH FOUNDATION:
Baqitullah is an Orphanage, situated in Lahore, caters to orphaned and abandoned boys. Prior to receiving support from The Sakina Charity Fund, these young orphans endured cramped and unsanitary living conditions.
The orphanage struggled to provide even the most basic necessities for the 24 boys under its care. However, amidst these challenges, Love, Compassion, and a resolute determination to improve the lives of these boys remained unwavering at Baqitullah.
Thanks to the financial assistance from The Sakina Charity Fund, the orphanage’s founder successfully relocated the boys to a significantly larger home. Now, Baqitullah cares for over 50 orphan boys, ensuring their well-being and brighter futures.
Step & Cure Orphanage/

Looking ahead, our charity has an ambitious plan: to establish a free lunch program for childrStep & Cure is an orphanage and residential facility that is committed to improving the lives of orphans and adults with mental and physical disabilities. They serve all kinds of disabilities: autism, mental retardation, cerebral palsy, schizophrenia, paralysis, hearing impaired, the blind, and terminal ill.
These individuals have been rejected by their families and society, and Step and Cure is usually their last hope for living a dignified life or, in some cases, dying with dignity. The Sakina Charity Fund has been a major financial contributor to this Orphanage since 2022. Thanks to our kind and generous donors Step and Cure has been able to expand its facilites, staff, and the number of children they can accommodate. en attending impoverished schools.
We believe that access to nutritious meals is essential for a child’s growth, learning, and overall well-being. By providing lunches, we aim to support these young minds and contribute to their brighter future.
Future Project: The Sakina Charity Girls Orphanage
By 2025 We hope to open our own Girls Orphanage in Lahore, Pakistan.
Pakistan has experienced frequent natural disasters, including floods that have displaced millions of people. The devastating impact of these events has left many children without families or homes.
The need for orphanages becomes even more critical during such crises.While both boys and girls need support, establishing more girl orphanages helps address gender disparities. Girls often face unique challenges, including limited access to education, early marriage, and societal expectations. Dedicated girl orphanages can provide a safe space where they receive proper care, education, and empowerment.
